Some of my favorite places and spaces in Central Bucks County and along the historic colonial Delaware River. I’ve always loved history, food, and art, and these spots have it all! From art shows, galleries, and antique shops in town. The historical spots of Washington’s Crossing has annual battle reenactments and a ton of historical spots to visit, and climbing Bowman’s Tower, the tower used to see across the Delaware before Washington made his long cold journey across the ice and snowy river. Today the tower is used as a park, a museum and a beautiful spot to see the entire view of the area. The Bucks County Playhouse theatre that features the greats from then and now, Lambertville Station known as a historic haunted building but now has some of the best food I’ve ever tasted, and my favorite place to be, the Peace Vally Lavender Farm located in Peace Vally Park. You can take part in picking your own fresh or dried lavender, and go through their french-inspired shop!
